About Us

The Children’s House was established in September 1999 in the grounds of St. Paul’s Primary School, Navan. In 2010 we opened a second school in Beaufort Place, Navan and our classes are all run from this building now. This building is situated at the back gate of St Paul’s Primary school. We offer a variety of services including a Breakfast Club, Playschool, Montessori and Afterschool Club.

Our mission is to value and nurture each child’s ability, individuality and cultural background by providing them with the opportunities they need to reach their full potential as active learners within an inclusive ethos. Here in The Children’s House we achieve care and inclusion in education by working in partnership with families, children and the early childhood team, both individually through reflective practice and in consultation with children and their families, so as to ensure that the education and care provided is fully inclusive of all children, families and agencies that attend and use our service.

The Children’s House believes that all children are unique, but share many similarities, thus promoting equality and diversity throughout the service. We will endeavour to promote and nurture the identity of each child attending the service and ensure that their emotional and physical well-being is of paramount importance at all times.
